SDCC Exclusive Hasbro Revolution Set

Hasbro will bring together 16 of its most iconic characters from across seven of its most beloved franchises in the form of a massive action figure set when Comic Con International: San Diego rolls around in just a little over a week. The set, dubbed the Revolution Comic Crossover Preview Mega-Set, will be available exclusively at Comic-Con and acts as a preview for IDW’s Revolution: First Strike comic book sequel that is set to release later this year.

Included in the set is Jetfire from Transformers, Roadblock from G.I. Joe, Action Man, a Micronauts group, Matt Trakker from M.A.S.K. (Mobile Armored Strike Command), Leoric from Visionaries and Rom and a Dire Wraith from Rom the Spaceknight.

IDW’s Revolution: First Strike, which brings together several of Hasbro’s properties into one continuous comic book narrative, looks to pick up where 2016’s Revolution event left off, right as Earth is about to join the Cybertronian Council of Worlds. The event is interrupted by Cobra, acting as Baron Ironblood. Cobra is targeting the Cybertronians, and their only hope of survival is the G.I. Joes, Autobots and one defecting Decepticon. Judging from the number of franchises Hasbro is pulling from this time around, it seems like the comic’s roster will only grow with the series.
