LEGO Solo Posters Give the Originals A (Kessel) Run for Their Money

With the marketing for Solo: A Star Wars Story somehow taking a very long time to go into hyper-drive, fans are glad that it’s finally taken off. In addition to an impressive trailer, we’ve been treated to a slew of toy images as well as character posters. Now, LEGO has unveiled its very own take on the posters that were previously released, which depicted key members from Ron Howard’s vision of one of the franchise’s most-desired anthology films.

The portrait shots were released via Twitter and feature Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich), Lando Calrissian (Donald Glover), Qi’Ra (Emilia Clarke) and Chewbacca (Joonas Suotamo). Just like the original posters, each character is shown armed, against a custom, color-coded backdrop: Han is wielding his trusty pistol; Lando’s blue backdrop evokes Cloud City from The Empire Strikes Back; Qi’Ra stands confidently on a violet background showing off her woman-power; and Chewbacca wields his crossbow against a yellow background.
