Avengers: Infinity War Character Posters Released

Marvel reportedly released a new slew of character posters of Avengers: Infinity War, which is due to hit theaters next month. The illustrated posters, pictured below, feature characters like Iron Man, Captain America, Black Widow, Iron Spider, Star-Lord and many more.

These new posters follow on the heels of a slew of new character descriptions, which shed light on where Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are as the Marvel Cinematic Universe heads into the upcoming film. Infinity War has already seen its release date pushed forward to April, meaning the marketing campaign is in full swing for the MCU’s 19th movie.

New illustrated character posters for Avengers: Infinity War are here.

While 18 sounds like a lot of major characters to pack into one film, it’s worth remembering that Avengers: Infinity War is due to feature upwards of 70 characters altogether. “There are 76 cast members in these two Avengers films,” Thor actor Chris Hemsworth revealed last month. “They will be the biggest films of all time, far bigger than my character.”

These posters aren’t to be confused with the 10th-anniversary character posters that Marvel dropped last week. Those eight posters spotlighted stylized, live-action shots of Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Hulk, Black Widow, Thor, Gamora and Groot.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, Avengers: Infinity War stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Olsen, Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Tom Hiddleston, and Josh Brolin. The film arrives April 27.
