20th Century Fox Releases Hi-Res Photo of Deadpool 2’s Villain, Juggernaut

The giant, helmet-wearing cat is out of the bag. The marketing and promo material of Deadpool 2 led us to believe that Cable would serve as the primary antagonist of the film. However, comic book fans were in for a surprise when the movie was released and the Juggernaut was revealed to be the big (pun intended) threat that Wade Wilson, Domino and Cable had to deal with it.

While the character was kept under wraps, a brief shot from the trailers showcasing Colossus punching “something” that looked metal and round was enough to get the rumor mill going. It was only in the film that the character’s full look was revealed. Now that the movie has been released and that we are out of the spoiler-free period, Fox has released an official, hi-res image of the movie’s colossal villain.

In the film, Juggernaut was let loose by the young mutant Firefist during a mutant prison transfer. Although the character was not wearing his brown costume from the comics, he was however sporting his trademark giant helmet.

Due to his unnatural size, Juggernaut was an entirely CGI creation, and an unrecognizable Ryan Reynolds stepped in to voice the character.
