Baby Driver was released one year ago today,” Wright said. “Had a wild ride with it in the last 365 days, so I thank you for all your beautiful responses, it means everything. And who knows, maybe he could get back on the road soon…”

Baby Driver ended with Baby being sentenced to prison after he was arrested for aiding criminals as their getaway driver, among other things. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison but was released on parole after five years. At the end of his sentence, he was reunited with Debora (Lily James), the film’s main love interest.
