The live action Gintama sequel film has finally revealed the last of its main cast!
The first of the three cast members is actor Tsutsumi Shinichi, who will be playing the role of Matsudaira Katakuriko. Quite the influential character, Matsudaira is the head of the police department and the leader of the Shinsengumi. He does have his own quirks though, like his uncontrollable need to womanize!
Actor Katsuji Ryo will also be joining the film as Tokugawa Shige Shige, a character who holds the highest rank in the country as the 14th ruling Shogun of Edo. Despite his title, Tokugawa is certainly a man of the people, often interacting with his citizens to see how they’re holding up.
The final cast member announced is actress Watanabe Natsuna, who will be handling the performance of Sarutobi Ayame. She is a capable ninja and assassin with an unhealthy Gintoki obsession and a wanton like for being treated rudely.
Gintama 2: Okite wa Yaburu Tame ni Koso Aru is set to premiere in Japan on Aug. 17.
