When the Aquaman movie sets sail in theaters late in 2018, you can expect to see villainous characters donning some heavy duty armor (they’ll need it). We know these outfits belong to villains in the DCEU movie as previous set photos saw Amber Heard’s Mera fleeing from a couple of troops in these exact suits. Whether the armor belongs to Atlanteans is yet to be seen, but it’s a sensible assumption to make.

The fact such monstrous armor is required around Arthur Curry’s home, Amnesty Bay, suggests whomever is wearing it is preparing for conflict in the small town. This, of course, lines up with the storyline that is suggested by Mera’s attempted escape.
