Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution Part 1 made its premier at Otakon 2017, held from Aug. 11 to 13 in Washington D.C.!
Held every August, Otakon is one of the biggest events celebrating East Asian pop culture in North America.
Although the movie is set to release to theaters in Japan on Sep. 16, more than 1,000 fans saw the first part of the trilogy in its full glory at Otakon. General director Kyoda Tomoki was also present at the event, and he stayed for an autograph session after the screening. He had his work cut out for him as the fans were all too happy to line up!
In addition to this preview, there are events planned for America, the U.K., France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and South Korea, so you might be lucky enough to get a sneak peek too!
