Gorgeous Carat’s You Higuri Launches New Manga – News

New historical romance manga launches on October 16

The official website for Akita Shoten‘s Princess Gold magazine is listing that You Higuri will launch a new historical romance manga titled Gizoku to Toraware no Himegimi (The Chivalrous Thief and the Captured Princess) in the magazine’s November issue on October 16. Amazon’s listing of the magazine, however, is listing the manga with the title Cristalia no Kōki na Gizoku (Cristalia’s Noble Chivalrous Thief).

Higuri ended the Frankenstein no Matsui (A Descendant of Frankenstein) manga in the magazine’s June issue in May. Higuri launched the manga in Princess Gold in August 2016. Akita Shoten will publish the manga’s third volume digitally on October 16.

Higuri’s first Gakuen Heaven manga, based on Spray’s boys-love game of the same name, launched in 2004 and was published in a single compiled volume. Higuri also serialized several character-focused, spinoff Gakuen Heaven manga series. Tokyopop‘s Blu imprint published Gakuen Heaven, Gakuen Heaven: Nakajima, and Gakuen Heaven: Endou – Calling you manga in English. An anime series adaptation produced by Tokyo Kids aired in 2006 and Media Blasters released the series in North America in 2007.

Tokyopop also published Higuri’s Gorgeous Carat and Gorgeous Carat: L’Esperanza manga. Digital Manga Publishing released Gorgeous Carat Galaxy, part of Higuri’s Ludwig II manga; Del Rey published Higuri’s Night Head Genesis manga; and CMX Manga published Higuri’s Seimaden manga in North America. Go! Comi published the first 10 volumes of the Higuri’s Cantarella series in North America, as well as her Angel’s Coffin and CROWN series.
