Made in Abyss is headed to the big screen in 2019 in the form of two compilation movies titled Tabidachi no Yoake and Horo Suru Tasogare, to open on Jan. 4 and 18 respectively.
The key visual released alongside the announcement features Rico and Reg in the centre with Ozen, Marulk, and Lyza behind.
Made in Abyss is adapted from Tsukushi Akihito’s manga, which is currently serialised online in Web Comic Gamma. Set in the deep and dangerous Abyss, the series follows Riko as she tries to solve its mysteries alongside a mysterious robot boy named Reg.
In addition to the compilation movies, fans also have future anime episodes to look forward to, which are already in production.
Made in Abyss: Tabidachi no Yoake opens on Jan. 4, 2019, to be followed by Made in Abyss: Horo Suru Tasogare on Jan. 18, 2019.
