Fate/Apocrypha proved popular with both male and female viewers, topping the guys’ list and coming third with girls.
Another chapter of the popular Fate franchise, the Fate/Apocrypha anime is an adaptation of the light novel series written by Higashide Yuichirou and illustrated by Konoe Ototsugu. The anime is directed by Asai Yoshiyuki and began airing on Jul. 2. With a total of 25 episodes set to be broadcast, we still have a lot more developments to expect in the Great Holy Grail War!
Owarimonogatari also seems to have captured fans’ hearts, placing quite well on both lists.
The anime adaptation for the last chapter of the Monogatari series will be seven episodes’ worth packed into a two-hour special airing on Aug. 12 and 13. The first and second seasons of Owarimonogatari aired towards the end of 2015, so you can be sure that fans are hyped to finally see this next anime!
Welcome to the Ballroom, by contrast, came second among female viewers but did not chart on the male list at all.
With the explosive popularity of sports anime in recent years, Welcome to the Ballroom may be a refreshing alternative to the usual offerings. Having premiered on Jul. 8, the anime follows Fujita Tatara, who plunges into the world of competitive dance after a chance counter.
