Another new version of Harrison Wells will make his debut on The Flash this fall.
At the show’s panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego Saturday, Tom Cavanagh mentioned his ever-growing catalog of Wells’ will be adding another personality in Season 5 of The CW series. And this one, he teased, may not be as trustworthy as some of his predecessors.

“It could be a past one and it could be a new one, and we’re going to kick off with a newer one who is a very intelligent being, but is maybe not to be trusted,” Cavanagh said. This version of the character will go by the moniker of Sherloque Wells.
There have been numerous versions of Harrison Wells to appear on The Flash, and thus far, this is the biggest hint we’ve seen about the next Wells in line. After Harry Wells, who had been working with Team Flash since Season 2, exited at the end of last season, fans have been eager to see what kind of Wells shows up this time around. And indeed, whether he will be more of a friend or foe to Central City’s resident superheroes.
Airing Tuesday nights on The CW, The Flash stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Carlos Valdes, Danielle Panabaker, Tom Cavanaugh, Jesse L. Martin, Danielle Nicolet, Hartley Sawyer and Jessica Parker Kennedy.
